ABOUT JORDAN

I’m Jordan Baldridge — a senior software engineer, husband, and new father running for Kenton County Commissioner in District 3 because I care deeply about this community and the people who call it home.

I grew up in Northern Kentucky in a working-class family that believed in faith, education, and hard work. My parents were able to build a stable life because they had good jobs that paid a living wage. That experience shaped my values early on: families deserve dignity, security, and a real chance to build a good life.

Much of who I am comes from my grandparents, including two World War II veterans, who taught me about service, humility, and responsibility to others. I attended St. Joseph Catholic School and Bishop Brossart High School, where I developed a love of history and public service, and later earned my degree in Political Science from Northern Kentucky University.

After college, I worked a variety of service and technical jobs before finding my footing in information technology. I started by fixing everyday problems for people and learned that listening, showing up, and doing the work matters. Today, I’m a senior software engineer focused on building reliable, transparent systems, and I bring that same mindset to public service.

My wife Maria and I are raising our son here in Kenton County. Becoming a father has deepened my sense of responsibility and made this work personal. I’m running to help ensure families can afford to live here, find good jobs, stay healthy and safe, and trust that their local government is working for them.

I’m not running for politics as usual. I’m running to listen, to solve problems, and to help build a Kenton County that works for everyone.
