I participated in the Covington Business Council’s Candidate Forum for Kenton County Commissioner

I was joined by several Republicans also vying for their party’s candidacy.

We covered issues like what the county can do to offset issue created by infrastructure projects like the closure of the 4th Street Bridge, balancing attracting development with the needs of the people, and what we can do to address Kenton County’s housing needs with rising prices.

I share how my background as a senior software engineer, new father, and lifelong Northern Kentucky resident shaped my decision to run for local office. The conversation covers the role of county commissioners and key issues facing Kenton County, including zoning, the Site Readiness Initiative, data centers, housing affordability, privacy concerns, and support for trades and technical education. I emphasize the importance of listening to constituents, protecting community health and the environment, and balancing economic growth with quality of life.

I spoke to the Covington Optimist Club where I introduced myself, gave my background, why I’m running, and what we can do to make a more Affordable Kenton and give people more opportunity and optimism.

I had my first public debate since college at South Kenton County Citizen Group's Candidate Forum. I went head to head against my opponent for the Democratic nomination for Kenton County Commissioner District 3. with business owner John Busse.
